TREND ON TRIAL: How to sport a fringe

Fringes appear to be all the range again this year but for many of us (including myself) the thought of such a dramatic hair change that cannot be put back if you are unhappy is daunting, especially when you know you wont be able to re-create the same effect once you have left the hairdressers!!

So here are StreetSavvy beauty's top tips and products to try in order to sport that new fringe trend:

TIP 1:

Fringes always look better with that pre-washed look. Try not washing your hair every day and instead using a dry-shampoo on those in-between days for a mattified hair and fringe look. Prep with my particular favourites such as:
>Klorane Dry Shampoo £7.50 (loved by the fashionistas such as Kate Moss).
>Label.M Dry Shampoo £10.50- Brunette's take note- no residue!!!

TIP2:

Lightly tease your roots to add "traction" with a good comb. Try a Medium Barrell brush such as the one from MoroccanOil £13.85 or a tail comb like the one by Kent Brushes £4.50

TIP3:
No fringe looks good if your hair goes frizzy! Help control and tame your fringe with John Frieda's Frizz-Ease Daily Miracle Treatment £5.59 which keeps hair straight for two-days if you blow-dry after using this serum.

TIP4:

A good hairspray is requied to hold that fringe in place! I have tried many a hairspray over the years- some struggle to hold any hair in place whilst others go to the other extreme and make me hair crispy. Why not try GHD's Style Final Fix Hairspray £9.95 that holds hair in place but doesnt make it stiff.
