REVIEW: YSL Forever Light Creator Serum

Streetsavvybeauty blog had moved- click here

The Yves Saint Laurent make up team claim the three main causes of a dull complexion are "surface shadows, colour disorders and lack of transparency", so this Forever Light Creator has been formulated to work on improving the skin’s brightness, luminosity and uniformity.

I was very keen to trial this new serum from YSL as soon as I heard about it and so I was very intrigued to know if it could live up to all its pre-launch hype and whether it could actually help eliminate and correct some of my skin imperfections.

REVIEW: EverRiche by L'Oreal Paris Hair Expertise

Streetsavvybeauty blog had moved- click here.

I read an interesting advert in Stylist a few weeks back about the newly launched EverRiche No Sulphates Cleansing System from L'Oreal Paris Hair Expertise and decided I needed to try for myself.
The ad went on to say that "trying to keep hair looking healthy and glossy can be an impossible mission" and I can quite easy agree to that statement!
The problem is that we all panic and believe that the only solution to dry, damaged or unruly hair is to smother our hair with as many different hair products as possible to give it the necessary 'moisture boost' it needs but actually we are making it worse. What we are actually doing is making our hair greasy which results in it looking dirty, in need of a wash and making our hair feel weighty. As the advert says- "its a catch 22 situation"

REVIEW: Kérastase Chronologiste

If you are anything like me, my hair just seems to go frizz in winter. What with the cold air and blustery weather outside and then the severity of living inside with the heating on, my hair is in desperate need of some TLC! I read up on Kérastase's new product Chronologiste and figured it was worth a shot! Kérastase is renoundly known for its hair expertise and knew that the stuff must be good. (Even Olivia Palermo uses it!)

"The brand’s self-professed ‘finest hair care treatment’ contains Madecassoside to soothe the scalp, antioxidant Vitamins A & E to protect hair from external stressors, Gluco Lipids and Ceramides to strengthen hair fibre, and Silicone Concentrate to enhance softness and shine." SheerLuxe.com

The treatment doesn't fail- it replenished the lack of shine I seemed to have, (I felt like an extra in the Pantene adverts with how glossy my hair felt!) and helped solve my split end problem. I have tried so many conditioners but this is by far the best. The only downfall is the pricetag- the products cost £80 (thats with a £20 saving on HQHair's website) but I can safely say that if you are desperate and will go to great lengths to restore your hair or you can easily splash that much cash, then this product is highly recommended.
