REVIEW: Chanel Allure Homme Sport Eau Extrême

There are not many male fragrances that get me jumping for joy but when I got to smell this new fragrance from CHANEL, I knew they were on to a winner!! A highly anticipated fragrance launch to accompany the current Allure Homme range.
Created by CHANEL perfumer Jacques Polges and contains notes of mandarin, cypress, white musc, tonka bean, cedar, sandalwood and black pepper. The fragrance is available as 50ml and 100ml Eau de Toilette.
This new edition has the same shape as previous CHANEL Allure Homme editions, is in dark color with a silver color ring on the stopper with engraved name of the brand. Red and white letters on dark body of the flacon provide dynamics to the edition.
The face of the advertising campaign is professional surfer Danny Fully.

This has gone straight into my top3 male fragrances. I definitely recommend getting your fella this as a treat that you'll benefit from too ;)
My fragrance rating: 10/10

Available at CHANEL websiteHouse of Fraser, Debenhams

REVIEW: Let's get Naked....again!

It has been several weeks now since Naked2 by Urban Decay was launched. Following on from the success of Naked1 as we shall now call it, it was inevitable that Naked2 was going to take the Beauty industry by storm!! My secret source at Debenhams (who has a 2week online exclusive of the palette) sold 1000units of it in its first day!!!
I've been playing around with my freebie for several weeks and thought it best to let all you out there, still without a Naked in their lives- that you better get down to those shops ASAP!!!
The question I pose to you- which version comes up trumps??

REVIEW: The "IT" Nail

If you’re looking for this season’s hottest nail colours then look no further. I’ve put together a list of my favourite shades whilst we are still feeling chilly in this late Winter and what to wear if you fancy following the trend of pre-spring shades. It’s time to dress up those nails…

REVIEW: New Fragrance Alert

The new Oscar De La Renta- Live in Love Eau de Toilette (FROM £39 John Lewis). The scent contains sparkling ginger orchid, hyacinth, green muguet, orange flower and rose: a new scent created by a man who adores women.  Sizes range from 30-100ml.

Stella McCartney's L.I.L.Y Eau De Parfum (FROM £44 Escentual).  Takes you on a journey through the senses. It begins with the smell of a spring morning, dapped sunlight through the trees, a vision of delicate lily of the valley. It is the passage of time across a forest floor, the touch of moss and the darker intensity of truffles. Masculine and earthy, but still seductive and sensual.  Sizes range from 30-75ml.

Diane Von Furtenburg- Diane Eau de Toilette (FROM £47 Selfridges) Diane created this Woody Floral fragrance by capturing the essence of a strong, confident, feminine woman. The two key notes are violet and frangipani which contrast each other, a deliberate choice made by Diane to represent the ying-and-yang contrast in every woman. These distinctive ingredients along with Patchouli, have been amplified in the Diane fragrance enhancing femininity close to the skin with the unique character of the scent. Diane's fragrance is built up like one of her dresses: it wraps up a woman's body and leaves with her all day long.

There is also a Eau de Parfum version of this sccent. Sizes 50ml or 100ml.

A long awaited favourite of mine: Salvatore Ferragamo's Signorina Eau de Parfum (FROM £39 House of Fraser).  The perfect alliance of elegance and memorability. A reinterpretation of the iconic elegance of jasmine with the unexpected and delicate sweetness of panna cotta. The bright fizzy notes of currant spiced by fresh pink pepper bring a joyful, cheeky character which compliments the green vegetal notes. Sizes 30ml or 50ml.

REVIEW: NARS Spring 2012

A personal favourite beauty brand of mine, I must admit is NARS!!! Stylish, professional and adaptable, this brand is a staple favourite also among the SATC cast and this season's latest range by François Nars does not disappoint even the most loyal of beauty  followers.
François Nars' approach to make-up was and still is revolutionary. I have not come across any brand, high street or designer that compares!! NARS embraces individuality, sophistication, wit and effortless chic. This products reflect that of the fashion industry- showing his roots.
